Atlas Emboss
Atlas Emboss drives surface displacement on lifted atlas cards using the height channel. Three shape regions are exposed independently (border, spine, vein), each with its own scale, noise, and ramp-based shape controls. Optional step in the atlas pipeline, typically following Atlas 3D.
Parameters
The parameter surface mirrors itself across three shape regions: Border, Spine, Vein. Each region exposes:
Border Shape / Spine Shape / Vein Shape
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Scale | Overall scale of the shape's displacement. |
| Distance Scale | Distance-based scale factor. |
Noise
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Noise | Toggle noise modulation. |
| Noise Scale | Element size for the noise. |
Shape
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Position | Ramp positions. |
| Value | Ramp values at each position. |
| Interpolation | Ramp interpolation. |
Notes
- Optional step. Driven by the height channel produced by Atlas Material.
- Sits after Atlas 3D and feeds Atlas Trace.
- Shares its border/spine/vein shape vocabulary with Atlas Mesh.

Atlas 3D
Optional step in the atlas pipeline. Lifts flat atlas cards into 3D where geometric thickness is wanted, producing embossed leaves rather than purely flat ones.
Atlas Import
First step in the granular atlas pipeline. Brings atlas source images (colour, alpha, roughness, height, normal, subsurface) into the workflow.
