Scan Profiles

Interactive picker for selecting end-tube points on a scanned trunk.

Scan Profiles is an interactive picker for selecting end-tube points on a scanned trunk. The selected points are carried downstream as the locations where procedural extension will attach.

Inputs

A scanned trunk mesh.

Outputs

Selected end-tube points on the trunk, carried through Create Graft Mesh on its right (yellow) input.

Modes / States

  • Interactive selection. In the viewport, select the regions of the scan to use as end-tube points.

Scan Material

Assigns a material to a scanned mesh. Used inside the high-poly import and graft workflows.

Scan Rig

Creates rigged tubular sections from scanned geometry. Used in the tiling-texture extraction sub-workflow.
