Scan Rig

Creates rigged tubular sections from scanned geometry. Used in the tiling-texture extraction sub-workflow.
Experimental. Scan Rig is currently useful only for creating tubular sections; broader uses are planned.

Scan Rig creates rigged tubular sections from scanned geometry. It sits in the tiling-texture extraction sub-workflow within the high-poly pipeline, between Scan to Parts and Scan to Tube.

Inputs

A region of scanned geometry, typically from Scan to Parts.

Outputs

A rigged tubular section, ready for Scan to Tube.
