Guided high-level entry to the atlas pipeline. Packages import, layout, material, mesh, and trace into a single node and gets a usable atlas in a few clicks.

Atlas Wizard is the high-level guided entry to the atlas pipeline. It packages the typical import-through-trace sequence (Import, Layout, Material, optional 3D and Emboss, Trace, Remesh) into a single node, producing geometry plus material data ready for the foliage decorations. Drop into the constituent nodes when finer control is needed.

Source Textures

Per-channel texture paths for the atlas inputs:

ParameterDescription
ColourPer-channel texture path for the colour input.
AlphaPer-channel texture path for the alpha input.
RoughnessPer-channel texture path for the roughness input.
HeightPer-channel texture path for the height input.
NormalPer-channel texture path for the normal input.
SubsurfacePer-channel texture path for the subsurface input.

Each channel can be filled or left blank depending on what the source delivers.

Mesh Settings

ParameterDescription
Border Edge LengthTarget edge length around the silhouette boundary of the traced output.
Inner Edge LengthTarget edge length for the interior mesh.
ThresholdCutoff used during mesh construction.

Notes

  • Composes the typical sequence Import, Layout, Material, optional 3D and Emboss, Trace, Remesh.
  • Recommended starting point for any new atlas. Drop into the constituent nodes once you outgrow it.
