Gravity Effector
A uniform up-vector across the entire tree. Drives the gravitropic response.
Experimental. The effector framework continues to expand. Parameters and behaviour may change.
The Gravity Effector writes a uniform up-vector to every point on the growing skeleton. It drives the gravitropic response: how much the plant grows toward up. The vector is constant everywhere, so the same effector produces the same influence regardless of where it is sampled on the trunk.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The effector instance name. Used as the attribute name written by the effector. |
| Gravity Direction | The constant up-vector written to every point. Default world up. |
Notes
- The full gravitropic response in nature is more complex than growing straight up; the response-mode and strength parameters cover the practical range.
